The Juntetsu Rose Set is a limited edition matched pair, bringing together the Rose cutting scissor and the Rose thinning scissor in the same VG-10 steel, polished finish, 3D offset handle and signature rose tension screw. Choose your cutting size, 5.5 or 6.5 inch, and the set is completed by the 6.0 inch thinner.
This is the complete Rose kit, a matched limited edition cutting and thinning pair for stylists who want both tools in one design. Both scissors carry the rose tension screw, the polished finish and the contoured 3D offset handle, so the feel and the look stay consistent as you move between cutting and blending.
Both scissors are tested by an expert craftsperson in Japan before they ship, checked for edge, balance and smooth action. As a limited edition, the Rose is made in smaller numbers than the core range.
VG-10 steel hardened to around 60-61 HRC, with a subtle sword-profile blade and a hand-honed convex edge. The 5.5 inch suits precision and detail work, while the 6.5 inch gives extra reach for all-round cutting and scissor-over-comb.
A 6.0 inch VG-10 thinner with a 42-tooth blade and a 25 to 30 percent cut ratio, removing roughly a quarter to a third of the hair caught in each pass. It is a versatile blender for reducing weight and softening bulk.
Bought together the two scissors cost less than buying them separately, and you get a fully matched limited edition pair that covers both cutting and blending in one steel family and one design.

Are these right or left-handed?
Both scissors are built right-handed. If you need a true left-handed pair, contact our team before ordering and we will let you know the current options.
How do I care for them?
Wipe the blades clean and dry after each client and add a drop of scissor oil at each pivot regularly. Have the convex edges sharpened only by a sharpener trained on convex and textured blades.
